General rules - Breaking these rules can and will get you banned!

No flaming or spamming in the comments section
No SPAM this includes NFO files, Torrent Names, & Comments advertising other sites non affiliated with BTZ.
Do not upload any pornografic material *This also includes images to your profile).
Do not upload any low quality videos (ie) real media or WMV... this rule also includes small low quality files, and all video file with a resolutin below 352xXXX. The Only WMV Exception is WMV-HD 720p Or Higher.
Do not hit & run... anyone who is hittin' and running will be warned/banned. Seed for as long as you can and do not leave the original uploader seeding on their own if you have downloaded the file.
Do not defy the moderators expressed wishes!
Do not pm the SysOp's with stupid questions.
Do not make more then one BTZonE account.
You MUST select your country in your profile. If you don't want your country to be shown then select the option 'Private'. Failure to do this and your account will be TERMINATED.
Do not PM Staff/Members with uploading requests.
Do not upload if you cannot seed untill the file is completely uploaded.
Disruptive behaviour on the site will result in a warning ( ).
You will only get one warning! After that it's bye bye!

Downloading rules - By not following these rules you will lose download privileges!

Access to the newest torrents is conditional on a good ratio! (See the FAQ for details.)
Low ratios may result in severe consequences, including banning in extreme cases.
All ratio's in the Red risk of being Warned/Banned we urge you keep your ratio in the White.

Avatar Guidelines - Please try to follow these guidelines

The allowed formats are .gif, .jpg and .png.
Be considerate. Resize your images to a width of 150 px and a size of no more than 150 KB. (Browsers will rescale them anyway: smaller images will be expanded and will not look good; larger images will just waste bandwidth and CPU cycles.) For now this is just a guideline but it will be automatically enforced in the near future.
Do not use potentially offensive material involving porn, religious material, animal / human cruelty or ideologically charged images. Mods have wide discretion on what is acceptable. If in doubt PM one.

Uploading rules - Torrents violating these rules may be deleted without notice

ALL TORRENTS UPLOADED TO BTZONE MUST BE PRIVATE. YOU MUST DISABLE DHT.

Add a good description to all uploads. Videos should be labled as appropiate with *CAM* *TS* *TC* *DVDscr* *DVDRiP* *VHSRiP* *DSR* *PDTV* tags.

If you cannot upload at 15 kb/s or faster then DO NOT UPLOAD any torrents to seed here or you will be Warned/Banned.

All uploads that include an NFO must have the NFO uploaded.

Pre-release stuff should be labeled with an *ALPHA* or *BETA* tag.

Make sure not to include any serial numbers, CD keys or similar in the description.

Make sure your torrents are well-seeded for at least 24 hours.

No Zipped Video Files. No password protected archives. No Multiple Files in a single zip. (eg.) (VideoX-2001 VideoX-2004 VideoX-1995) 1 File.zip 'Video Files should be uncompressed in a folder or in multiple part winrar files.

Any files that are scene releases must be labled as a scene release, Any uploads found to be renamed scene release files will be deleted.

No FREEWARE torrents, No NSV Files, No PC Game Demo's, No TMD Movies, No single file MP3 torrents, No Pic's torrents, No files that contain trojans or virus.

All uploads MUST contain a good PROPER description, list as much information as you can or risk it being deleted.

All Uploaded Video's must list a proper description (example) Video/Audio Bitrate, Codec, Format, Frames, Resolution (The ONLY Files Exempt To This Are Scene Releases To Which All Info From The NFO MUST BE ADDED TO THE DESCRIPTION).

All Audio (MP3/WMA/WAV/FLAC) files must have there audio bitrate listed in the description.

All DVD uploads MUST be labeled with NTSC or PAL as appropriate, also please try to list as much information as possable on the audio, source and res.

All Magazine Scans MUST include scan info in description and source.

If you have something interesting that somehow violate these rules, ask a mod or SysOP and we might make an exception.

XviD Guidelines - XviD Torrents violating these guidelines may be deleted without notice. We refuse to host low
quality XviD encodes.

XviD:
XviD should always have a minimum resolution of 512x for 4:3 TV and 624x for 16:9 TV and should ALWAYS be 2 pass.

Size/Time:
Here below are the time/size guides:

15 - 21 mins 175 MB (minimum unless HR/HDTV)

21 - 33 mins 233 MB (minimum unless HR/HDTV)

33 - 54 mins 350 MB (minimum unless HR/HDTV)

54 - 110 mins 700 MB (minimum unless HR/HDTV)

110 - 220 mins 2 x 700 MB (minimum unless HR/HDTV)

220 - 330 mins 3 x 700 MB (minimum unless HR/HDTV)

Audio:
MP3 Audio when contained with XviD AVI should always be VBR with a minimum encode bitrate of 128 kbps or higher.

AC3/DTS Audio should never be transcoded.

Ads:
All ads/TV commercials must be CUT to the best possible.

Border:
All black borders must be cropped.

Tags:
File names should always have the following order:

Alien.VS.Predator.2.DVDSCR.XviD.AC3-VNM

So the order is name.name year/date if needed and codec(s).source then always end the title with -TAG

REMEMBER: PDTV Source must be a DVB-Stream of over 10Mbits Below this equals DSR. Also NOTE if you are not capturing the DVB-Stream direct then the source is analog. S-Video/Composite/Scart/RF-Input/DVD-Recorders ARE ALL ANALOG no matter the source.
